Spring Discovery

Originally intended for the Governor's Derby Exhibit, this original oil painting on canvas is now available for your special place or as a gift. Using photographs of a friend's foal some years back, I changed the young horse's color and altered the background to represent spring in Kentucky. I used some of my photographs for modeling the flowers in the foreground, the focus of the youngster's curiosity. The painting is unframed and measures approximately 20"x16"x 3/4."
