They Clasped His Feet


They Clasped His Feet is an original hand painted oil on canvas based on Matthew 28:8-10, which reads,


          "So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. Suddenly Jesus met them. 'Greetings,' he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. Then Jesus said to them, 'Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.'" 


It is framed in a mahogany stained hand applied maple veneer frame and measures approximately 27 5/8" x 21 5/8" x 1  3/8" deep. Painting itself measures approximately 24" x 18" x 3/4".
